Welcome to my website and welcome back to school!
A little bit about myself: Although I am not a Florida native, I have lived in Manatee County area for the past 14 years. I am originally from Michigan and attended the University of Michigan and received a B.S. in ELA/Math Education and an M.A. as a K-12 Reading Specialist. I have been a middle school teacher for 20 years having taught grades 6th-9th. This year will be by 6th year teaching at Rowlett Middle Academy and I have to say working at this school is incredible! I feel so incredibly blessed to be one of the original teachers that opened this school in 2017.
