About Me
Mrs. Celia Ruetz has taught middle school orchestra for 14 years. She began studying the violin at age 12 in her middle school orchestra and has been playing ever since. Mrs. Ruetz received her Bachelor’s and Master's Degrees in Music Education from the University of South Florida. She has served as District Chair for the Florida Orchestra Association, and taught for the Violin Project of Sarasota to 5th grade students, and. Along with her love of teaching music, Mrs. Ruetz collaborates with all of the RMA Arts Teachers and also performs her violin in the area. Currently, she also conducts and teaches Camerata Strings for the Sarasota Youth Orchestras and is a part of the faculty of the Sarasota Orchestra’s Summer Music Camp.
