RMA Artists Selected for “Embracing Our Differences”

Great news from our Visual Art Teacher, Mrs. Braniger!

“I am thrilled to share with you all that out of 13,733 entries from 119 countries, 45 states and 424 schools around the world, RMA is represented 4 TIMES in this year’s Embracing Our Differences Exhibit. Only 50 pieces are selected to make up the exhibit and to have more than one artwork in the exhibit is extremely rare! There will be 3 different exhibit locations this year, I truly hope that everyone will get the opportunity to experience this incredible display and see our students’ work blown up to billboard size.  Please join me in congratulating the many talented students! Congratulations to 6th grade visual arts students that had quotes selected for display in the exhibit Hazel Cozby and Kendall Bacon.  Congratulations to 7th grade visual artist Mazie Zoller, for having her individual artwork selected, “Tuned Out”.  Congratulations to the following 8th grade visual artists for their collaborative work “Life Doesn’t Frighten Me”. I am so proud!”

Congratulations…
