As you may recall, at the beginning of this school year we asked that parents/guardians cover an annual $50 iPad insurance fee for Apple Care which will cover a repair if necessary (ex: broken screen, damaged headphone port, etc.). If you paid this insurance fee, the most common repairs will be covered. If you did not pay this fee, there was significant damage to the device or items have been lost, the following fees will apply:
Cracked Screen: $50
Damaged Headphone Port: $50
Keyboard Damage / Broken Keys: $20
Lost iPad: $350
Lost Keyboard: $20
Charger Brick: $20
Lightning Cable: $20
Charger Brick/Lighting Cable: $40
iPad Case: $35
These fees will be able to be paid via cash/check (made payable to Rowlett Middle Academy) or via our school website (Visit the shop tab). These fees must be paid in order to receive your student's final report card. If you are unable to cover these fees due to personal reasons, please reach out directly to administration for assistance in this matter.
iPads will be collected on Monday, 5/24 or Tuesday, 5/25 for in-person and hybrid students. eLearning students must return their iPad on Thursday, 5/27. A schedule for eLearning returns is forthcoming.
