RMA families, we have been receiving some very important feedback from students, parents, and teachers regarding their eLearning experience, and we understand that some students may be falling behind in submitting their assignments. In light of this feedback, we have begun to scale back a bit and are reducing the amount of work assigned to students. We have also modified our policy on late work, and students will have flexibility in turning in assignments late. In addition, we are working to streamline information in Google Classroom to assist students in putting first things first.
We ask that students maintain regular communication with each of their teachers and reach out through Google Classroom, email, or Bloomz if they are struggling with the content, instructions, or timeframe to complete an assignment. Teachers will work with students to ensure they are supported in all of these areas. Students should be checking the “Classwork” tab in Google Classroom for each of their classes each school day, including electives, to see a clear picture of assignments. Assignments with a light grey icon next to them have been submitted, and assignments with a dark grey icon next to them have not been submitted.
