Dear RMA families,
Teachers began posting assignments to your student’s Google Classroom application on Monday, March 23rd.
For attendance and grading purposes, we are requiring that students virtually participate with their teachers each week. As they virtually check in with their teachers, complete assignments on time, or join the Zoom platform, they will be marked present by their teacher each day that week.
This will be part of their "attendance" record. If they have not logged in or submitted work, their teacher(s) will be contacting you requesting the reason for their absence of work/participation.
If your student is ill at home or will not be able to virtually participate in classes for any reason for that school day, please email Mrs. Amy Colmorgen at [email protected]
The email should include parent name, student name, and the reason why your student will not be participating that day. As usual, the absence will be coded in FOCUS accordingly.
Also, regarding Report Cards for Q3: Report cards for the 3rd quarter are now available for viewing on Focus. Parents can log into Focus with their account or their student’s Focus account to view 3rd quarter grades.
We know that this is a new territory for parents, students, and teachers, as well. Together we will navigate through this new process!
